01  The first batch of certifications during the startup phase laid the foundation for the quality of Pntech products

In April 2011, in a modest building, Ningbo Pntech New Energy Co., Ltd. was officially established. Its initial products focused on solar photovoltaic cables and accessories, as well as photovoltaic connectors. In the same year, Pinentech’s photovoltaic cables and connectors received TUV certification, becoming one of the first manufacturers in the industry to obtain professional certification for photovoltaic cables and connectors.

02   Expanding E-commerce Channels, Injecting New Vitality into Business

In the first half of 2012, the photovoltaic industry faced double anti-dumping policies internationally, which had a profound impact on the company's development, putting Pntech in a difficult position.

In the second half of 2012, the company’s founder started selling on the 1688 platform. After three years of persistent effort, the company experienced a significant breakthrough in the second half of 2014. Thanks to the founder's foresight, Pinentech secured a solid position in the e-commerce field, achieving diversified business development. This not only brought significant economic benefits to the company but also injected strong momentum into the brand’s recognition.

03  Seizing the Opportunity to Further Explore New Markets

Seeking New Opportunities, Achieving the First Breakthrough of 50 Million in Output Value

In 2015, Pntech began expanding its strategic vision to the global market, setting up a dedicated foreign trade department to explore overseas business. In the same year, the company’s founder agreed to a cooperation proposal from Ningbo Skymon for listing on the New Third Board. Through the sale of a portion of Pntech’s shares, they supported the parent company’s listing process.

Overcoming Adversity, Achieving the First 100 Million Yuan Milestone

2018 was a turbulent year for China’s photovoltaic industry, as the "531 policy" had a strong impact, causing a decline in both revenue and net profit across the industry. However, Pntech stood firm in the face of this adversity and seized new development opportunities.

Under the leadership of founder Lu Xufeng, after two years of steady and sustained development, the company achieved a historic milestone in 2020, with its annual output value surpassing 100 million yuan for the first time.

  04  Technological Innovation, Opening a New Chapter for Pntech

In 2021, the company officially changed its name from Ningbo Pntech New Energy Co., Ltd. to Zhejiang Pntech Technology Co., Ltd., a move that further strengthened Pinentech’s influence in the industry. Zhejiang Pinentech not only achieved significant breakthroughs in technological research and development but also successfully expanded into several new domestic and international markets. The company innovation and a pragmatic business philosophy, continuously improving product and service quality, which has earned widespread acclaim from its customers

In 2022, with the rapid development of the company, Pinentech relocated to a new factory. The number of specialized production lines for photovoltaic cables increased to six, and the production equipment for photovoltaic connectors also expanded to eight units. As the company entered 2023, despite the complex and ever-changing market environment, Zhejiang Pinentech continued to maintain strong growth momentum. The company further optimized its internal management system, improved operational efficiency, and increased investments in talent acquisition and development, laying a solid foundation for its long-term growth.

05   Staying True to Our Original Intention, Moving Forward Steadily

 In 2024, due to the company’s continued growth, the factory area has expanded to 16,000 square meters. Currently, Pinentech’s main products include: solar photovoltaic DC cables, photovoltaic connectors, MC4 photovoltaic cable assemblies, thin-film module photovoltaic junction box kits, solar photovoltaic quick installation kits, solar photovoltaic module smart optimizers, photovoltaic smart disconnectors, photovoltaic smart controllers, and solar photovoltaic micro-inverter cable assemblies.

Pinentech has set a more ambitious development plan, aiming to continue strengthening its existing business, actively explore new growth opportunities, and strive to set a higher benchmark in the industry. At the same time, the company will actively fulfill its social responsibilities and contribute to the sustainable development of society.
